31 Years of Fantasy F1 — Enhancing Your Enjoyment of Formula One
Liam Lawson - Car #30 - +second time penalty - Leaving the track and gaining an advantage
The news of the 'silly season' was 7-time World Champion Lewis HAMILTON signing for F1's most iconic team Ferrari.
The resultant domino effect on the drivers market meant we only had two teams retaining their previous year's squad; Aston Martin and McLaren.
I've never been a big Lewis fan. Too much of the same thing gets boring. Well, not everything but you understand.
Like when Michael SCUMACHER kept on winning and winning and winning. As we say in Italiano 'Basta'. Enough.
Have we seen the dawn of a new era of winning? The Oscar PIASTRI era.
Wow from what I saw in Jedda I'm leaning in that direction.
Remember Zak BROWN signed the youngster away from Alpine (nee Renault). Seems 'The Regie' wasn't sure about the lad so had no real signed contract.
He now leads the World Championship for the first time.
Hammer time. Not so much.
He looks good in Ferrari red. With the Sprint win in China I was kind of cheering for 44 in red.
Last year the Mercedes didn't suit him. The car wasn't balanced. Etc.
George RUSSELL seemed to adapt but you have to give a world champion the benefit of the doubt.
Then again this year. You have to admit he has been put in the shade by Charles LECLERC.
This weekend along the Red Sea said it all.
Seventh at the flag was respectable. While Charles finished on the podium.
But Lewis finished a whopping 31 seconds behind Charles.
There is one driver should be actively looking for other work. Maybe sportscars.
No it's not Lance STROLL. Should be. But No.
While fellow Antipodean is winning races Liam LAWSON is racking up a remarkable record of post race penalties.
This week an additional ten seconds was added to his race time. Leaving the track and gaining an advantage.
Red Bull protegee Arvid LINDBLAD looks pretty handy in F2.
Just say'in.
